A business diagnostic is a comprehensive analysis of the key areas of your business. Based on this analysis, recommendations for improvement are made. With your assistance an Action Plan is then prepared to prioritise and implement these recommendations.

The Process

In the preparation of a Business Plan, we use a detailed 7-step process:

1. Interviews:           Comprehensive interviews with yourself and other key people within your business are carried out to investigate your current business situation and your future goals.

2. Research:                        DJM consultants conduct extensive research of your business' market and the industry in which it operates. Over 100 external resources are used as well as DJM's extensive internal library. Other research includes customer and distributor surveys, competitor research, employee surveys, and employee evaluations.

3. Lateral Thinking: Lateral thinking is applied to develop creative and innovative strategies that will make your business stand out from the crowd.

4. Discussion:         Further meetings with DJM consultants are arranged to discuss the outcome of the research and various ideas and strategies developed for your business.

5. Review:                 A draft of the Diagnostic is provided for your review. Further discussion results in a workable Diagnostic to ensure your future success.

6. Implementation: DJM Consulting is then available to assist you with the implementation of your Diagnostic, eg. with telemarketing, direct mail, publicity, the development of business systems, etc.

7. Follow-up:            DJM keeps in regular contact to see how the implementation of your Diagnostic is progressing.
